Summer Vacation Time for Teens
Summer is close at hand once more, which means summer vacation for many young teens. My three sons are really excited about this summer, but they always are. However, my middle son, who is thirteen this summer is even more excited since he will be mowing ten yards for our neighbors. Sometimes I wish I could just find a husband!Normally, in the summer he takes his position in front of the television, but this summer he says he has a purpose. My purpose, is to teach him how to save three-fourths of that money in a checking account and teach him how to balance a check book. I also plan to teach him how to make purchases using his bank card and by writing checks. I feel this will make him a much more responsible individual in the long run.
