The Use of Google flu
Did the Google have the flu? Well the answer is no, it doesn’t have it. Google flu is a service accessible from Google Trends. To track the frequency that searches were made for terms like flu symptoms in different areas around the world is what Google did. They then used official data that tracks flu outbreaks. The Google data was able to pick up a flu outbreak in an area up to two week before the official data picked it up is what makes remarkable from this experiment. Through this you may be able to monitor for flu outbreaks using Google flu. This does not mean that you can avoid the flu, but it is a neat service from Google.
