Infuriating life insurance companies
Life insurance companies are the biggest pain in the world. They provide you with a days reading in the way of an application form and a further days writing in completing it and answering the endless life insurance questions that they need just to assess you. For many people this is enough and they can get cover straight away but for the minority, of which I am included, they take months sending you extra questionnaires and asking you to elaborate on this condition and that illness. You try to call them to explain and cover any further questions but of course this is not possible as they need it in writing and can’t possibly use the technology of a recorded line which is surely just as effective as far as authenticity goes!
