We Did an Awesome Service Project
My family and I just did a really awesome service project. Usually, I don’t like to tell people these things, because it kind of seems to invalidate the good deed to talk about it. But since you don’t know who I am, I feel okay sharing. We have an elderly neighbor that has been missing a couple of windows for years. She keeps blankets tacked over them to keep out the wind, but I have often heard her make comments about how cold it is in her house. So last week, my children came to me and said they wanted to pool their allowance and buy some maryland replacement windows. While she was gone one day, we snuck over there and put them in! She has no idea who did it.
