Dogs have got to be the best pets ever!
Dogs have just got to be the absolute best pets ever, of all time! No wonder dogs are called man’s best friend; they love you unconditionally, they are fun, and, being that they are such a popular pet to have, there is ready access to everything you need to keep a dog happy and healthy, such as qualified veterinarians, a wide range of foods and dietary supplements to choose from, houses, toys, and even psychiatric evaluation if your dog is just a little unstable!
Dogs were always such a big part of my life growing up, because my dad knew just how important it was to have dogs around for your kids. Having those furry canine friends teaches children the basics of responsibility and caring, and also gives them their first important tastes of real loss when your pet passes on. It is always very very sad when your child loses their first pet, but it teaches them about the circle of life and death, and when the time comes to have another dog, it teaches them that loss is not the end of the world!
My favorite dogs are probably those of a mixed breed between Pomeranians and Toy Chihuahuas, because I love the tiny size of a toy Chihuahua mixed with the bombastic hairstyle of a Pomeranian. But, then again, I also love Bull Mastiffs and Dobermans, because when my Toy Chihuahua Pomeranian mixes start to misbehave, I can have the larger dogs keep them in line, because the tiny little buggers are afraid the big ones will eat them. When you own dogs like I do, it’s all about maintaining a good balance between the breeds; if you know how to match up different types of dog, they will learn to regulate their own behavior and it can save you a lot of trouble in the long run.
