Non-Social A Sign of Autism

One of the many characteristics of autism include the inability to mix with other children well or just the preference to be left alone. Other more sociable non-autistic people may see them as aloof. However, the case is that they work better with pictures than with words. Most people associate talkative with social. In an autistic child’s world, they may be just as talkative, only with pictures. As a baby, an autistic trait is not wanting to be cuddled. This trait grows up into the non-social picture that most people have of an autistic person. Additionally, the fact they make little eye contact also contributes to this non-social idea.
