My Son Struggles with Allergy Induced Asthma
When our son was born, we were so thrilled with our first healthy baby boy. Then we found out that he was allergic to a whole host of normal foods including dairy and gluten products. Life became a daily challenge of what to convince him to eat while hiding food that would trigger his allergy induced asthma. One attack of this asthma was all I needed to deal with to become his biggest protector from allergy producing foods. I was scared to death we would lose him before we reached the hospital. Now I know how to help him when an attack is triggered, but I hope that someday this is no longer a problem for him.
