We Got Our Step Father a Business of His Own
My step father had recently retired, and was driving my mom nuts, by sitting around the house all the time watching TV, and doing nothing. She was desperate to find him something to do, so he could still feel productive. I tole my mother that I had read something on starting your own consulting business. She thought this would be perfect for him, and got his to want to do it as well. After the initial set up, my step father was a totally different person, and had a new confidence within himself. This is the best idea my mom and I ever talked him into.
